Founded in 2006 by veterans of the display panel and computer graphics industries, Trilinear Technologies is focused on providing high-end IP cores to customers who demand the highest standards of quality and reliability for their products. Trilinear specializes in complicated designs for image and video processing applications in mission-critical systems for medical, aerospace and military markets. Hardware and software certifications to standards such as DO-254 and DO-178B can be performed on any available core as dictated by customer requirements.

The Trilinear team has over 40 years of industry experience. Each team member has shipped products in their specific areas of expertise, from ASIC and FPGA hardware designs to software drivers and reference platforms. As such, Trilinear Technologies has a solid, fundamental understanding of the requirements for successfully developing and taking products to market.

One unique aspect of Trilinear Technologies is the digression from the standard ‘IP rental’ philosophy that permeates the industry. Instead of offering cores with single use, netlist-only licenses, Trilinear offers most cores with a source code license that is competitively-priced against typical single-use license costs. Trilinear Technologies also diverges from the traditional shrink-wrapped, packaged IP typically offered as standalone products. Trilinear believes that every design is unique, thus requiring some level of customization to the core before it can be integrated into a new or existing product.
